J & J Driving Academy offers Segment 1 and Segment 2 teen driver education classes at 4 locations:

  • Belleville High School
  • Lincoln Park High School (The August 9, 2010, class is FULL!)
  • Southgate, 15351 Dix-Toledo (across from Chuck E. Cheese's) Mr. Lewandowski will teach
  • these classes! (The August 9, 2010, class at our Southgate location is FULL! )
  • Woodhaven Community Center (the August 2, 2010, class is FULL!
  • Please join us in one of our upcoming fall classes (TBD)

To begin Segment 1, students must be at least 14 years and 8 months old.  A copy of their birth certificate must be presented at registration.  The forms you must complete are the Registration Form and a Segment 1 Contract.  These may be submitted on the first day of class.

The Segment 1 fee may be paid in full the first day of class by check, charge, cash or money order.  Payment may also be made in two payments:  $150 on the first day of class by check, cash or money order; the remaining $135 by cash or money order only by the last week of class.  No checks will be accepted for final payment.


To register for Segment 2, your student must have been driving with a Level 1 license for at least 3 months; completing at least 30 hours of driving (including at least 2 hours of night driving).

The $45 payment will be accepted by cash, charge or money order only.  Since this is only a 3-day class, no checks will be accepted.
