J & J Driving Academy offers Segment 1 and Segment 2 teen driver education classes at 3 locations:

• Lincoln Park High School (Segment 1 classes only)
• Southgate, 15351 Dix-Toledo (across from Chuck E. Cheese) in Galleria Plaza (Segment 1 and 2 classes)
• Woodhaven Community Center (Segment 1 and 2 classes)

To begin Segment 1, students must be at least 14 years and 8 months old.  A copy of their birth certificate must be presented at registration.  The forms you must complete are the Registration Form and a Segment 1 Contract.  These may be submitted on the first day of class.

The Segment 1 fee may be paid in full the first day of class by check, charge, cash or money order.  Payment may also be made in two payments:  $150 on the first day of class by check, cash or money order; the remaining balance of $125 by cash or money order only by the last week of class.  No checks will be accepted for final payment.

To register for Segment 2, your student must have been driving with a Level 1 license for at least 3 months; completing at least 30 hours of driving (including at least 2 hours of night driving).

The $45 payment will be accepted by cash, charge or money order only.  Since this is only a 3-day class, no checks will be accepted.

Although we offer Segment 2 classes at all of our locations, our Southgate location offers monthly Segment 2 classes.
